The Chindit Inn is a little gem. A traditional corner street pub unspoilt by time.

Originally a Mitchells & Bultlers Off-Licence it was granted Public House Status in 1958 to coincide with local house building regeneration in the area.

The first Landlord was an ex-soldier who served with The Chindit Regiment in Burma during World War II and he named the pub
after his comrades 'The Chindits'. As far as we can tell this is a unique to us.

We pride ourselves on serving only the best kept cask ales and
can boast we are the only Public House in Wolverhampton to be awarded the Cask Marque consecutively for 15 years.

We have five hand pulled cask beers which are constantly changing so keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook for what's on and for the up and coming beers in the cellar.

Live music has been a focal point for well over a decade at The Chindit and our Friday nights offer a wide range of musical genres
to suit all tastes. Our very popular Open Mic Night is now every Sunday from 8.30pm (from September 2017). For more information on the latest bands see below.

We hope to see you soon.
